A Bit About Me
Amanda Trumble is a Certified Athletic Therapist and the founder of Trumble Athletic Therapy+.

In 2015, Amanda graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BSc Honours Kinesiology, Minor in Psychology. With a passion to help athletes and individuals recover from injury, she decided to pursue a career in Athletic Therapy. Amanda attended the University of Winnipeg and graduated in 2019 with a BSc - Athletic Therapy. Since obtaining her national Athletic Therapy Certification, Amanda has continued to expand her knowledge base. She has completed her SHIFT Concussion Management Certification, Advance Movement Therapist Certification, Functional Movement Systems Certification, and Hockey Trainer Level 1. Amanda has also taken additional courses to provide Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Cupping for her clients. As a Certified Athletic Therapist, Amanda also maintains her First Responder certification to provide emergency care for sporting events.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked in the clinic with children, athletes, weekend warriors, and senior citizens. She has provided sideline coverage for hockey, football, rugby, and tennis at the house league, high school, university, national, and international levels.

Amanda's treatment philosophy includes restoring function and maximizing potential of the body using manual techniques, modalities, and individualized exercise prescription. She takes a global approach to recovery focusing not only on the primary injury, but also the underlying causes of dysfunction. This optimizes recovery, minimizes the potential of re-injury, and helps you to return to activity stronger than ever.

After working for over 10 years in multidisciplinary healthcare settings, Amanda decided to start her own business. This provides her the freedom to care for individuals in a field setting and simultaneously treat individuals in the clinic/gym.
